In the digital world, local accountants are becoming harder to find. Online only accountancy services have become an option for some, particularly during the COVID 19 epidemic . For small companies or those in remote locations, collaborating online provides access to services that previously may have been difficult to obtain. Whilst this approach may suit businesses with simple requirements, other business models can be complex and require a more personalised solution.

Online Accountant Vs Local Accountant

Advantages of a local accountant:

Relationship building

Virtual relationships are convenient, but to establish a solid understanding there is nothing quite like a face to face meeting. Discussing your business in person helps to establish a greater knowledge of your requirements and build a stronger relationship.

Accountability

Has someone avoided your call before? Or perhaps not responded to an email?  Meeting a client face to face ensures greater accountability – you become a person rather than just a name.

Communication
